I've had a quick look through and it's clear you have put a lot of work into this, I'm no legal expert, so I'm assuming that all the legal stuff is what is required. What concerns me slightly, and what may worry the Whitehall folk who we have to r...

Rescue Hens

I've been forwarded this info:

Rescue Hens

We have recently rescued some free range, organic chickens which were doomed to be slaughtered as supermarkets will not buy eggs laid by hens over a year old. If you can offer any of these hens a home then we £2 per bird (non-profit) .

These are healthy birds, which will still lay as many, if not more, eggs than ornamental hens!

If you can offer them a good home then we will help with transporting the hens to you if need be.

There are still hundred… Continue

Have you read the the International Herald Tribune?

Take a look at this very special edition. It has some great headlines, including:
'Sarkozy: Nuclear is dead',
'Heads of state agree historic climate-saving deal',
'Atmosphere named World Heritage Site'.

Sun Shines on Transition Camp

Sun Shines on Transition Camp

The first Transition Camp Gathering took place last weekend on what some called the second weekend of summer this year. Taking place in the beautiful Sussex countryside on the organic Wapsbourne Manor Farm that has recently branched out into camping, the aim was to make it both affordable and family friendly. The lack of many kids in most of the photos is evidence that they were off and away hav… Continue

HI, thanks for reorganising so it is clearer - though I loved the bright and sunny yellow we had before...
Did you know that TFR was referenced in the latest edition of 'eat Sussex' magazine - pages 28-30 give the 'Gastro-Gnomes guide to Forest Row' - its rather good.

also, how does the left hand side 'random people' work - I'm fascinated by the way some people pop up again and again and others never - there must be a rule for its somewhere.. let me know in a quiet moment....

Black gold film was excellent - and someone actually approached me to volunteer to help deliver the lightbulbs, EDAPs and food guides around the village. And I hadn't even asked them... wonderful. Can we please start an 'EDAP & lightbulb' distribution group here that people can sign up to - I think after Monday's meeting we should start to collect names/roads - think we will get the 50-60 people we need if we start asking - I already have 7 I hope......Stuart, Tom, Romily, Suzanne, John, Kerry, + me and Cordelia! ;-)

Would you please change the start time for the film on 6/3 to 7.30pm, as we will be offering free tea, coffee and cake before the film, along with a Fairtrade quiz and Traidcraft stall - would be great if people come along.
