Hi Laurence,

Thanks for getting in touch directly

I have composed my 3 comments around the others I've read from Rowena, you and Paul to balance and fuse with you, as I agree with much said I've written something I hope may compliment.

1. Whatever our views about climate change are most of us live our lives doing the best we can for ourselves, our families and friends. Transition is about doing just that in the wider local environment of where we live.

2. One positive aspect of being within a community is that each of us offers the best part of ourselves, something we love to do, alongside someone else who can do something we can't. This encourages self esteem and confidence and happier more connected people.

3. Children are the reason a lot of us get out of bed in the morning! Working, playing and creating a stimulating 'present' for them will be a good investment for their future as well as our own. The more skills they can learn the better equiped they will be for what the future may bring.

Yes that's possible. We could meet at Sharpthorne Cafe if you like. I will have a chat with Steve in the meantime to sound him out. Let's confirm early next week.

Hi Laurence. Apologies for not getting back to your original message. I fully intended then things just got busy. We could meet here at HH but maybe in the new year unless you are happy just to pop up for a short meet to get things rolling. Whatsay?

About Me:
Very aware and interested in green issues for over 40 years, I have not owned a car for most of my life. I reduced the gas consumption of my previous house in Brighton (to below the cost of the annual maintenance charge) and was a member of Brighton Urban Design and Development that lobbied for more sustainable solutions for the Brighton station site development. I am at present working on upgrading my current house. I attend my local Green Party meetings and have written some poems about green issues. My favourite website is www.ted.com. Copies of Al Gore's film, An Inconvenient Truth can be borrowed from me.
