Transition Forest Row

A community in transition to a low carbon, sustainable, resilient life.

If anyone wants these, let me know.
I need a source of local honey. Any suggestions?

Frith Manor farm honey (East Grinstead, Baldwins Hill) is sold by Kate & Richard Taylor Smith at their Lingfield Breadshop - or drop in to find Kate at the HIghgate works where she has a unit there (Shira's pastries)... otherwise I don't know of others that are sold apart from all the Paynes Southdown honey - unless you go to the local beekeepers - contact EGBKA as a first point of call or drop by the community market first Sat of each month where Justin Cleveland-Peck often has a stall with info on local beekeeping.
if you have local receipes it would be great if you could post them...would be good to start to build up a bank of receipes appropriate for October for the event.

There is a house on the main road on the hill up to Colemans's Hatch church that usually has a sign outside saying Honey For Sale, and another one on the right in Upper Hartfield

Great idea. Can I chip in?

The village hall was looking at doing a recipe book for fundraising too. Good idea not to get too diluted.
