Event Description
An event started by the Eden Project with some large backers to try and get people to sit outside in their streets and share lunch with their neighbours. It sounds like a great community idea to me and one that all of Transition could get involved in. It has the sustainable aspect too whereby people are encouraged to use and swap the food they've grown along with plants and seeds etc.

Comment by Alice Cragg on May 21, 2009 at 7:02pm - Oh i love this idea.....maybe i can set up a massive picnic here at the farm??? I will mull this over and see when would be a suitable day to do it bearing in mind seasonal veg etc... Anyone else keen on a massive picnic?
