White Deer

See a beautiful white deer and watch the Medway and tributaries in full flow, filled with melt-water from the January snows. Forest Row Snow Sculptures

In January 2010 Forest Row became a winter playground. Sledges, skis and snow sculptures appeared as schools closed and children took an extra holiday. This four minute film consists of a photo slide show with some video of many of the wonderful snow men, ladies, cats, dogs, cars, a train and igloos that were created in the snow. Tree o'clock Forest Row video
As part of National Tree Week, BBC Breathing Places invited Forest Row residents on 05.12.09 between 11:00/12:00 to help set a new Guinness World Record for planting the most trees in one hour in multiple locations.
